Philip Ashworth is a composer with an emerging national and international profile. He is a graduate of the Royal College of Music, where he was awarded his doctorate in 2015. He has written for a variety of ensembles at home and abroad, including Krysia Osostowicz and Daniel Tong, The International Opera Theatre of Philadelphia, The Melos Sinfonia, Helios Opera, The London Chamber Orchestra. Most recently he has been selected to work with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra as part of their Composers' Hub Scheme for 2016/17. In addition to his work as a composer, Philip is in demand as a programme note writer and teacher.
